This place is so cute! The staff were very helpful and forthcoming with information. I, finally, found quality Mexican pastries that I have been looking for since I moved from SoCAL years ago. I got conchas, espresso cookies, and these (to die for) lady finger sandwiches with buttercream in the middle. It was empty when I came in, Sunday around 2pm. Let's share thr love of Peoria and help this gem thrive!

Quiet, airy and inviting! Fantastic quality of Mexican pastries that are given the utmost attention to detail! I had the Yuzu Green Tea and it was delicious. The staff member was nice and she greeted me with a warm smile!
As soon as I walked in the door, I was taken aback by how amazing it smelled! All the freshly baked pastries, the coffee, the breads 🤤 I ordered a seasonal drink- Bonfire Latte, a good balance of not too sweet and still being able to know it was coffee- unlike a lot of big brands where everything is so doctored up. We also picked up and cinnamon and sugar pretzel and a Nutella empanada. The pretzel had a little crunch outside and softness inside, and the Nutella empanada? I’m not sure words could describe how delicious it was. The bread was so smooth and pillowy and a touch if sweet and there just the right amount of Nutella inside- not oozing out or just absorbed into the pastry. Needless to say I will for sure be going back when I’m in the Grand Prairie area again!!
A few days ago, while on vacation in Illinois, I went in to get some treats with my mom and our friends. Such a beautiful little shop. The service was amazing. Turns out the owner was the server. Meeting Ann was wonderful. I recommend the carrot cake! It was so good and huge too. The rest of my treats lasted me all the way home, 6 hours away, and my first day back home.
Ordered a custom cake for the first time and chose here to be the first! My daughter was turning 4 and wanted a Cheetah themed cake! When I went to pick it up it looked absolutely beautiful! The design, the colors… all great features! Trying the cake was phenomenal! Honestly the best cake I’ve had from being bought than homemade at home. Tasted almost like Tres Leches cake but wasn’t.. it was really good! I would definitely recommend this place for any event and I will be getting a cake for future parties here as well!
